A traineeship is a unique blend of practical on-the-job training and formal education. As a trainee, you'll work with a reputable employer in your chosen industry while completing a structured training program.

This combination allows you to acquire real-world skills, knowledge, and a nationally recognised qualification, giving you a competitive edge in the job market.

At Aspire performance Training you can participate in either a:

What incentives are available?

Currently, there are multiple incentives to take advantage of:

  • The Federal Incentive for New/existing workers: Up to $3000 for business owners per trainee, per year.

  • The State-based Incentive for  New/existing workers completing select real estate traineeships: Up to $6375 per trainee, per year.

  • The Free in 2025' Initiative (excluding students enrolled at school*). Select courses are free or half price.

Types of Traineeships

School Based Traineeships

At Aspire Performance Training, our school-based traineeships provide secondary school students with the opportunity to gain real-world work experience and earn a nationally recognized VET qualification, while completing their senior secondary school qualification.

Through partnerships with reputable employers, we offer programs across various industries, allowing students to develop industry-specific skills, get their foot in the door and start building professional relationships and networks for their future.

With the guidance of experienced mentors and industry professionals, students can apply classroom learning in a practical setting, building confidence, skills, and knowledge. We provide comprehensive support throughout the traineeship journey, empowering students for future success.

Types of Traineeships

New/existing worker traineeships

Understanding the distinction between new and existing workers allows us to tailor our traineeship programs to meet the specific needs and circumstances of individuals based on their length of employment.

Whether you have new workers who need to transition to a more permanent employment arrangement or existing workers seeking professional development opportunities, Aspire Performance Training is here to support the growth and success of all your employees.

New Worker:

  • A new worker refers to an individual who has been employed by your company for less than three months on a full-time basis, or less than twelve months on a casual or part-time basis.
  • To be eligible to undertake a traineeship, new workers must transition to part-time or full-time employment status within your company.

Existing Worker:

  • An existing worker is someone who has been employed by your company for more than three months on a full-time basis or more than twelve months on a part-time/casual basis.
  • Existing workers, having already established a longer-term relationship with your company, are eligible to participate in traineeship programs.

Business Ready Skill Set

REGISTER YOUR INTEREST

The Business Ready skill set will give you the skills and knowledge required to use business technology and produce business documents, follow work health and safety (WHS) and emergency procedures and instructions, use computer software, and organise electronic information and data. It also covers customer service skills; including how to create a relationship with customers, identify their needs, deliver services or products and process customer feedback.

Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety

Elevate your career in work health and safety (WHS) with Aspire Performance Training's Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (BSB41419). This program equips students with the essential skills and knowledge required to excel in WHS roles.

To attain the full qualification, students must successfully complete 10 units of competency, without any pre-requisites or co-requisites. Upon achieving some units of competency, a statement of attainment will be issued, recognizing the acquired skills.

REGISTER YOUR INTEREST

Aligned with the Business Services Training Package BSB, this qualification is recognized and valued within the industry. It is ideal for individuals working in WHS roles, who play a vital role in ensuring workplace safety and have limited responsibility for overseeing others.

Throughout the program, students will gain expertise in various areas, including workplace compliance with WHS laws, implementation and maintenance of WHS consultation and participation processes, and WHS risk management. They will learn how to contribute to the implementation of WHS management systems, respond effectively to workplace incidents, and deliver impactful presentations.

Certificate IV in Business

The gateway to a career as a qualified business professional, Aspire's Nationally Recognised BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business prepares participants for a variety of Business Services job roles, where they would be expected to carry out a range of specialist and moderately complex administrative or operational tasks that require self-development skills.

Trainees will use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base to apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse information from a variety of sources. This Business Qualification will also provide the trainee with the skills to provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others.
