Models we use

Human synergistically LSI program

Designed to measure and help develop constructive thinking and behavioural styles, LSI assesses a leader's job satisfaction and effectiveness in areas such as interpersonal relationships and problem-solving. The inventory provides a quantified method for looking at strengths as we as self-defeating behaviours, in the hope that the participant will further improve upon what is good, and work to change what could be better, identifying blind spots.

What you will expect from this program is to complete a questionnaire regarding thinking styles, personal effectiveness, and satisfaction at work and home. Collaboratively, the second component of this workshop asks peers, managers and coworkers to provide 360-degree feedback on individual behavioural styles and effectiveness. Results and recommendations are then presented to each individual in a confidential, comprehensive report, including feedback on 12 important thinking and behavioural styles, confirming and unrecognised strengths, blind spots, and stumbling blocks.

Helpful for all executives, senior leaders, managers and emerging leaders, the LSI helps:

  • Discover new and/or different ways of thinking and behaving
  • Increase effectiveness in roles
  • Reduce and cope with stress/ the effects of pressure and change

Lumina Spark Toolkit

The Lumina Spark model is an evidence-based model that draws upon the teachings of Carl Jung and the empirically supported OCEAN (‘Big5’) model. The model improves self-awareness of strengths, areas for development and identifies potential blind spots.

The Lumina Spark model is unique, as the one tool provides three lenses from which to view oneself:

  1. Underlying persona - your instinctive way of being
  2. Everyday persona – the way you behave at work day-to-day
  3. Overextended persona – how the employee behaves when under pressure

The participant can use the results to discover practical actions for:

  • Improved communication
  • Teamwork
  • Leadership
  • Coping under pressure

Further included as part of the recommended retail price for Lumina Spark is access to two online modules - Lumina Coach and Journey to Composure. Ultimately, each coachee, after progressing through the three initial sessions, will walk away with a tailored designed career pathway mapping the immediate 12 months, and more broadly, years 2 and 3.

Click Colours

Commonly known as the test to take when you want to work out why you CLICK with some people, whilst others drive you CRAZY? This test provides self-analysis and reflection to effectively, improve relationships, build rapport with colleagues and clients, communicate more effectively, enhance teamwork, gain the cooperation of others and strengthen your impact on others.

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)

This strategy is used to help identify the 16 distinctive personality types to allow participants to further explore and understand their own personalities including their likes, dislikes, strengths, weaknesses, possible career preferences, and compatibility with other people. If you have ever heard the term, introvert or extravert, this study will dive into this ideology.


DiSC is an acronym that stands for the four main personality profiles described in the DiSC model. People with D (dominance) personalities tend to be confident and place an emphasis on accomplishing bottom-line results. This is a personal assessment tool to help improve teamwork, communication, and productivity in the workplace.

  • People with I (influence) personalities tend to be more open and place an emphasis on relationships and influencing or persuading others.
  • People with S (steadiness) personalities tend to be dependable and place the emphasis on cooperation and sincerity.
  • People with C (conscientiousness) personalities tend to place the emphasis on quality,accuracy, expertise, and competency.
  • Everything DiSC also measures priorities (the words around the circle), providing more nuanced and memorable feedback in profiles.

How we help

As part of Aspire Performance Training's core Business and Consultancy services, we provide Executive Coaching / Career Development Coaching, facilitated by our senior staff, qualified as International Executive Coaches.

With extensive experience training some of Western Australia's most prestigious leaders, we offer results-proven Executive Coaching/ Career Development Coaching with a personalised-training structure where we work with you through both online and face-to-face coaching sessions, identifying and addressing individual needs for improvement.

To help facilitate coaching sessions, participants can select from different toolkits to match individual learning styles and interests. To determine the best course of action we first undergo a research component to better understand your learning style and needs, exploring employee purpose, interests, ambitions, motivations and commitments, as well as strengths and areas for development/blind spots. Initially, to raise self-awareness, tested diagnostic tools such as Human Synergistics LSI and Lumina Spark may be administered to detect interests, areas of strength and development.

Following this, we will navigate the route to desired outcomes, potential gaps, obstacles and challenges. Upon exploring the participant's motivation and commitment, the GROWS model will provide a framework for identifying a way forward, culminating in a written document that maps the various steps for the next 12 months. Throughout the personal development journey, we will create a roadmap for success with tri-annual check-in points for reflections and restoration, as well as identifying success criteria.
